     CALMRA is proud to announce that we have been awarded the Maryland Association of Nonprofits Organizations Seal of Excellence for successfully completing the rigorous Standards for Excellence voluntary certification program.  The Standards for Excellence: An Ethics and Accountability Code for the Nonprofit Sector are based on 8 Guiding Principles and 55 Standards.  CALMRA's programs and services, management, fundraising and financial practices were examined in depth before the certification was awarded.  Standards strengthen a nonprofit's management and infrastructure by enhancing a nonprofit's ability to thrive in a competitive environment, as well as meet their mission.
